Mixed Media Gallery.
This painting is on a canvas 100cm x 80cm. It’s one of my ‘Moving Shapes’ series. I so enjoyed creating this series!
I used thick acrylic paint, vivid colours and energetic brush strokes, to create movement and rhythm in the painting.

This is another picture in my ‘Moving Shapes’ series, painted on a 100cm x 80cm canvas. In this, I’ve used lively brush strokes of thick Acrylic, especially with the blue, to stir memories of sea and foam. At the top right I’ve introduced droplets of silver effect paste which gives an impasto effect of droplets of water.

This canvas is again from my ‘Moving Shapes’ series, but I’ve chosen a rectangle shaped canvas of 90cm x 60cm.
The expressive brush strokes, and vivid colours complement the somewhat exotic shapes created with the silver and gold effect paste, and thick Acrylic paint.

This original canvas is 50cm x 100cm, and is very much a multimedia painting. I began with Acrylic paint and gold effect paste, I then introduced vivid colours of fluorescent paint.
In normal light the brush strokes are visible, achieving an impasto effect, but in the ultra violet light, the image is transformed into this extremely impressive and very different image!
