Commissions
I love to experiment with different types of paint to create different effects; my home is full of these different kinds of canvas and paintings.
This is a large canvas of 150cm x 100cm. I’ve used thick Acrylic paint, and different colours of acrylic paste. The vigorous brushstrokes are deliberately visible to create an impasto effect. Ive ‘overpainted’’ a ‘rain’ effect using a fine tipped Cerne Relief outliner. This emphasises the three dimensional abstract effect..

This canvas was a special commission, it was based on the previous canvas, but on a smaller scale. This canvas is 60cm x 60cm. I used acrylic paint and acrylic paste as before; the design is similar, but was created for one person, so is quite unique!
Random Palette
I painted this Canvas 90cm x 90cm in very thick Acrylic using as many colours that I had, or could mix, with brush strokes clearly visible, and in a random direction. Colours that are random but that blend together to make a whole. This impasto effect painting reflects all the joy of creating art!

The paint was again thickly applied, with brush strokes deliberately visible creating an impasto effect. This canvas is 60cm x 60cm, and it was created for one person, so is quite unique!
